LAND ROVER DEFENDER 90 200tdi, 109,000 miles, MOT-20,01,2015 in Reading, Hampshire for sale

1988 Landrover Defender 90. 109,000 miles. I brought in 2009 with 85,000 miles on and the old 2.5TD engine in. The Landrover itself was great, but the engine was awful and so I quickly realised it needed one of the tdi's in it and managed to get a 200tdi out of a defender with 60,000 miles on it. And this was put in later that year. Fantastic transformation in every aspect. Checker plate in rear loading area, back of rear door, sills, wingtops and bonnet. STEERING GUARD, DOG GUARD, MOUNTNEY STEERING WHEEL, REBUILT AND DESIGNED DASH AREA,CD STEREO and 6 speakers. Done 6 months ago: New Clutch and Reinforced Clutch fork. Done in last 2 months: Complete SWIVEL PIN KIT (bearings,seals etc) inc BALL itself on both sides, new WHEEL BEARINGS on both front sides, new TERRAFIRMA return to centre STEERING DAMPER, HANDBRAKE CABLE, FRONT PROPSHAFT, fuel filter housing, fuel filter, oil filter, air filter, oil change and general mini service. It will need two new tyres though before next mot for sure, the other two are better and would probably be fine. I have a THULE roofrack that cost me over £200 and will sell for £100 if interested? The landrover really is and always has been 100% reliable, starts first turn of the key all year and doesn't smoke at all. It is a reluctant sale but I no longer have a garage due to a relation ship break up and need a large hightop van.
